So, to address your concern, I don't think those ARE the original stamps on a new barrel I think the stamps on the receiver (with BSA marks) are original, and the stamps on the barrel (with Enfield inspection stamps) are consistent with it being a WWII produced barrel.In most instances of course, the date a barrel was produced will correspond quite closely to when it is installed and the weapon reissued (with the exception of those held in store - usually marked with a rectangle/box stamp). equivalent Automatic Rifle)
